Valentines Photoshoot Offer
I know, Xmas has only just gone, and the NYE hangover is hovering about…
But before you know it, you’ll be needing to start thinking about bloody Valentines day. Either finding that special something for that special someone, or if you’re like me then finding that special bottle of booze to blur out the fact that that it’s Singles Awareness Day…
I digress.
I am offering a package deal for photography. Now this can be a boudoir/Burlesque type shoot at a location of your choosing, or you can leave that up to me, and 2 10x8 inch prints, and 10-15 fully edited web-resolution images on disc. Or you can have a couples shoot with the same deal (prints and disc).
And all for £70.
It’s a first come first served offer, with limited places, and time (it’s only 9 weeks away!), so please email me on chris@chriswparker.co.uk for more details and booking.
(Of course please do bear in mind the time needed to edit and print the images in time for the 14th Feb, if they are to be a gift!)
Please browse my website - http://www.chriswparker.co.uk - for samples of my work, and if you have any questions or queries at all, do ask - with no obligation to book a shoot.
Thanks
Chris

Some Atlanta-based photographer posted a humorous Craigslist ad on Monday highlighting the fact that people often assume that photographers will be happy to do work for free.

I am a photographer and since people are always looking for free shoots I assume that they must also do their job, or provide their services, for free.
I am looking to hire all types of people to do all sorts of jobs for me, as long as I do not have to pay anything. Just think, you will gain more experience, and I will put the word out for you and let everyone know what wonderful work you do. This opportunity will bring you a ton of unpaid work, but everyone will love you. So if you have a job or service you provide, and will do it for free, please let me know, because I am sure I have work for you and will hire you in a second.
Feel free to email me with the service you can provide, when you can start, and please include references.
I look forward to you free service.
Thanks,
:)Well said, that man.

Not For Ponies A/W 11/12
Had the pleasure of working again with Not For Ponies designer Beckie Andrews yesterday. Along with Little Sofi, and other models Emma Fernell and Simon Mitchell, who all did an outstanding job. Plus also props to NFP intern Kirsty for helping out.
I’ve got a stack of editing and sorting to do over the next week, as well as photographing the NFP jewellery collection, which I will sorting this week.
Keep an eye out, and I will be posting some previews shortly.
Ta!

WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?
Funny the tumblrbot should ask me that.
Some friends are currently on their way to San Francisco, and that’s one place in a short list of places I would like to visit. Keeping this as places I’ve never been to, then as well as SF, there’s Japan, St. Petersburg, New Mexico. There’s probably more, but I lived abroad for many years, and I just don’t have the wanderlust. Quite the opposite now, I like being settled, nice flat, Manchester, my own furniture and belongings.
For too long I lived out of a holdall, my entire wealth and possessions fit into one bag. I’m happier now. Although those who know me might chuckle at me using the word ‘happier’… Content might be closer.

New Journal.
So… I’ve always had a few blogs and journals, but for the last year or so I’ve only really used my personal blog, http://blog.chriswparker.co.uk which isn’t quite, erm, professional? Like I said, it’s my personal blog.
I thought I should fettle a new one, which is more photography and photography related.
And here it is.
Bit crap so far. But bear with me. I’ll try and keep the rants short, the photos SFW, and the grumpiness to a minimum. That’s why I have my other blog, ha ha.
